I was first inspired to get this tattoo from my favorite movie Vanilla Sky. It’s the first line in the beginning and end of the movie, and it holds so much meaning to me, not just from the movie, but from the way I see everything in life. It’s a simple quote I have always admired and throughout college I have coincidently had at least three of my professors say this in a speech. It just flicks a switch in my mind and heart. Life, people, and certain things are confusing and difficult, but like many people in my life have told me the answer is simple. Just Open your eyes and the answers you’re looking for are in front of you.
This was done by “The Todd” in Los Angeles, California at The Velvet Grip Family. I had it done on my first trip to Los Angeles and couldn’t be happier with the artist and outcome. It’s exactly what I imagined having.
